Autogate... Installation Services
At Autogate it is all about customer service. Most of our new business comes through client recommendation, and we are pleased to maintain relationships with our customers with our after-sales service.
When quoting for any potential job this can be done without having to visit your premises and over the phone. Depending on the nature of the enquiry a full site visit may be required before starting the job but not in all cases.
It may be that you already have manually operated gates that require automation. The majority of existing gates can be automated, and our technician will be able to advise on any changes necessary for conversion, such as the strength and condition of the gates and posts.
All new gates supplied by Autogate are of the highest quality and are available in a variety of styles and materials. Function and appearance are of equal importance, as a gate that enhances the look of your property will also add to its value.
Autogate can advise on gate types, sizes, posts and cabling required. We also provide a bespoke gate service. This can include any names, motifs or decoration that you wish you include. Call us for details.
Choosing gate automation adds to your convenience and security. Depending upon the location, access and space available your gates can be fitted to swing or slide open, whether as a single gate or as a pair. Swinging gates can have the opening mechanism concealed underground as well as mounted on the gate.
The most suitable installation will depend on the position and type of gate chosen, and your Autogate technician will be pleased to discuss this with you.
Autogate is based in Bordon in Hampshire which is a convenient location for us to serve a wide part of southern England.
The main areas we operate in are Hampshire, West Sussex, Surrey and Berkshire. We have recently installed & maintained gates in Guildford, Esher, Cobham, Haslemere, Farnham, Weybridge, Sunningdale, Winchester, Chichester, Portsmouth and Southampton.

We have been using Autogate for over 13 years and cannot speak enough about their courteous and very efficient engineers and the office staff.
We recently changed over to Metal gates and the service provided by Autogate was second to none.
Their Engineer Dan is very efficient and courteous at always.
1. Consistently poor communication, late to appointments or late to cancel, several times appointments had to be rearranged at short notice. Sickness can’t be helped on the one occasion but otherwise this causes huge inconvenience when I have moved around work meetings and have had to work from home in order to be around for an engineer.
2. Autogate also completed unauthorised works on our gates. No fixed or written quote had been given just a rough verbal cost, therefore no formal acceptance was given (it was left after initial site visit that the office would ring to confirm a price with the cost of the part…they never did). Then I hear from my neighbour when away on holiday that Autogate had turned up with no appointment and completed works on the gate. This is a violation of consumer rights and trespass/tampering with private property. Whilst Autogate admitted fault, I have had no call to discuss how this has inconvenienced me and no it was all put down to a sorry situation and a miscommunication. This amounted to a huge waste of my time and created a load of unnecessary hassle. In fact they asked me to take my negative review down on Tuesday - I said my comments were valid and important for people to be aware of.
I therefore strongly advise not using this company and advise Autogate to revise internal procedure and customer service practices so that nobody else is subjected to what I was. Had they dealt with this differently I may have considered accepting the works but as we weren’t at the property when they took place another appointment was required at additional cost to get the fobs to work and it felt like the job was being strung out purposefully to squeeze more and more money out of a customer. Given how poor they handled this entire situation they completely lost all faith, trust and customer goodwill and I felt it was best to get them to remove their unauthorised installed equipment and to cut ties.
We are both hugely impressed with your 'after sales' dedication to customer service some three years or more after fitting. I can think of, and indeed know, many who would not care.
You and the crew are a credit to your industry.
